In Greene County magistrate court judgments were entered against Chad Lee Ferguson of Jefferson on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail. He was also fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge on a charge of public intoxication. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail, concurrent to the other sentence. Both jail sentences were suspended and Ferguson was placed on probation to Boone/Greene County Probation for one year. A charge of assault was dismissed. Court costs were $60.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending Sept. 6 as follows: Joshuah Jay Blumberg of Grand Junction on a charge of violation of a protective order; Joe Edward Blackmon of Grand Junction, disorderly conduct and assault with intent to cause injury; and Joseph Dewitt Midkiff of Jefferson, operate without interlock device.
